Lindly Haunani

Lindly is best known for her incredible understanding of color.  She and co-author, Maggie Maggio, have their first collaborative book, Polymer Clay Color Inspirations: Techniques and Jewelry Projects for Creating Successful Palettes available 25 August 2009.   She has over seventeen years of experience as a polymer clay workshop leader and has taught hundreds of workshops ranging from three hour seminars to week long residential intensives.  

Her work has appeared in over fifty Invitational and juried shows. She is one of the founding members of the National Polymer Clay Guild, co-author of Artists at Work, and the star of several how-to videos

When not fantasizing about being a food stylist, a stand-up comic or a fabric designer…she can be found traveling around the country to teach workshops while belly laughing. She is best known for her sensitive use of color and gentle and empowering teaching style.

humor- for a fun and enlightening one-day workshop before the CFCF festivities begin. Expand your repertoire of bead shapes to include petals, while learning exactly how to make this shape successfully using polymer clay Strategies for combining canes and tweaking their profiles will be presented. Learn how eccentric bead shapes can enhance or establish exciting stringing rhythms while experimenting with scale, proportion and emphasis.  

You will learn how to make a “perfect” Skinner rainbow blend that will be fashioned into a subtle shaded round blend that will be combined with a black and white “accent” cane.  You will then use your “mother cane” to construct a set of petals that can be combined to fashion a beautiful Lei bracelet.

Come with your two magical hands and your sense of humor: be prepared to be amazed and leave with an enhanced sense of your artistic sense.
