CFCF Workshop Offerings
Registration is open until 27 Dec. 2009 and for Pre-conference until 31 Jan. 2010 or until classes are full! This will be the 3rd year of this internationally promoted hands-on event held in Laurel, Maryland. A few things have changed this year…
- You are now able to register for 6 workshops instead of 5 (yeah!)
- We have another round of ten (10) well-known instructors who are bound to tap into additional creative crevices in each of you – Tony Aquino, Maureen Carlson, Grant Diffendaffer, Dayle Doroshow, Louise Fischer Cozzi, Laurie Mika, Kathryn Jo Ottman, Lisa Pavelka, Ronna Sarvas Weltman, and Sarah Shriver.
- We’ve expanded the pre-conference workshops to include a Master class with Jeffrey Lloyd Dever, full-day workshops with two of the premier color experts in the polymer clay world, Lindly Haunani and Maggie Maggio, one of our favorite instructors – Nan Roche – author of the first book on Polymer Clay, Jana Roberts Benzon, and Cindy Silas – polymer and metal clay artist recently published and on the cover of Art Jewelry Magazine.
- Finally, we were able to negotiate the guest room prices down at the hotel to save you a bit.
So, registration is open, class information is out there, now all you have to do is decide and send in your registration and payment. As with last year, we will be accepting PayPal and credit cards. If you choose this option for your payment, please fax your form and email cabinfeverclayfestival@yahoo.com with pertinent information (i.e. email address associated with your PayPal account.) We will then send you an invoice for payment.

Terrific, Valerie! Looking forward to having you join us!
Any resources to find childcare? I would love to go, but have a 2-yr-old and no available family to take her…
Hello, Glenna. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide any childcare resourses onsite, but there is a church nearby that does offer childcare during the week. Email me at cabinfeverclayfestival@yahoo.com and I can provide you with more info. Kathryn

Hello, Linda. YES…please come! This conference in Laurel, MD is set up to provide hands-on workshops for beginner to professional artists. You can learn more by going to the registration tab at the top of this page. Hope to see you in 2010!
I am already registered but would like to add Jana’s new class — how do I do that? thanks, nt

Is there a way to look at registration, class discriptions etc… if you have dial up? I can’t seem to get off this page. Thank you.
Kelly…if you put a name in the search engine, it will take you to all of the entries with their name in it. Will also send you the registration forms and class descriptions in an email…you will have to download the documents. There is still space available, so looking forward to having you join us.
What happens if I sign up for the conference and there is a snow storm tht makes it impossible for a flight from Fl to arrive?
Also I called about the transportation from the airport and was told it would be 60$. Can that be so.
Today is the 28th of dec so is it too late to sign up?
Thanks for the info.
Linda, since we have no control over the weather and everyone else is in the same boat (including the instructors), you would just have to take the next flight available and arrive whenever you can, I suppose. Not certain about the transportation, but if you combine with others, it would be less expensive. No, you can still sign up…registration for CFCF runs through the end of January and for the pre-conference workshops through mid-February. Hope you can make it…you’ll have loads of fun!
Looking forward to the 2010 Cabin Fever event– can’t believe it’s less than two months away!!
Where can I find the supplies and tool lists for Jana & Nan’s pre-conf classes as well as for the regular CFCF workshops? I poked around in the yahoo group (files section) and also here on the public blog but I can’t seem to locate this oh so vital information.
Your help and guidance is much appreciated…
Happy New Year,
Beth
Hey, Beth. Sent you the info again via email. Let me know if you don’t get it.
I would also like to find the list of supplies needed for the workshops.
Thanks
Hi, Linda.
As mentioned, the supply lists are sent out after registration is received and confirmed. We will watch for your registration to arrive and get the lists to you.
I’m thinking about adding another pre-conference workshop – I’m already registered. Will that count as an entry? (you can never have too much clay dough, you know!)
edie
Hello, Edie. Yes, it would count if you sign up for another pre-conference workshop. We still have openings for Nan Roche, Cindy Silas, and Maggie Maggio.
Are there still openings available? I asked a few months ago but didn’t have the money at the time? If I can still register how do I know what classes are available?
Thanks
Sue
Hello, Sue. Yes, there are still openings if you are intersted. I sent you the forms and class descriptions via email. Let me know if you have any other questions. Hope you can join us!
